Ø      8-12 November 2008. Elos programme: ± 25 students of Eijkhagencollege will visit Liceo-Ginnasio “Celio”/Istituto Magistrale “C.Roccati”, Rovigo, Italy  for the first leg of our exchange.

Ø      9-12 November 2008. Elos programme: ± 25 students of Eijkhagencollege will visit  Scuola Media “Parenzo”/”Casalini”, Rovigo, Italy  for the first leg of our exchange.

Ø      10-14 November 2008.  Bilingual Project:19 students of Eijkhagencollege will visit Sweyne Park School, Rayleigh, UK.

Ø      14-23 January 2009. Comenius LLP Bilateral Project 2008-2009:21 studens of  Eijkhagencollege will visit Urola Ikastola, Azkoitia/ Azpeitia Basque Country, for the first leg of our exchange.

Ø      1-10 March 2009. Comenius LLP Bilateral Project 2008-2009: 21 Students of Urola Ikastola, Azkoitia/ Azpeitia Basque Country, will visit Eijkhagencollege for the second leg of our exchange.

Ø      17-21 April 2009. Elos programme:± 25 students of Liceo-Ginnasio “Celio”/Istituto Magistrale “C.Roccati”, Rovigo, Italy  will visit Eijkhagencollege for the second leg of our exchange.

Ø      11-15 May 2009. Bilingual Project: 19 students of Eijkhagencollege will visit Newport Free Grammar School, Newport, UK.

Ø      11-15 May 2009. Bilingual Project: 25 students of Eijkhagencollege will visit Gesammtschule Troisdorf, Germany for the first leg of an exchange.

Ø      2-5 June 2009. Bilingual Project: 19 students of Newport Free Grammar School, Newport, UK will visit Eijkhagencollege Landgraaf or the second leg of the exchange.

Ø      During the whole 2008-2009school year 32 students of Eijkhagencollege are involved in International Internships of two weeks.

 

TORNION YHTEISLYSEON LUKIO

Ø      10 to 16 March 2008,  Scordia to Tornio.

Ø      May 2008. Euroscola project: visit to the European Parliament  in Estrasburgo Ribeauvillé, where 32  students and 3 teachers were hosted by French families.

Ø      Comenius with a school in Galicia and Ribeauvillé.

Ø      20 to 26 October, Tornio to Scordia. 11 pupils and a teacher.

NEWPORT FREE GRAMMAR SCHOOL

Ø      Great number of exchanges. NFGS´s international work has been recognised again by the  British Council with their prestigious International status.

Ø      11-15 May 2009. Bilingual Project: 19 students of Eijkhagencollege will visit Newport Free Grammar School, Newport, UK.

Ø      2-5 June 2009. Bilingual Project: 19 students of Newport Free Grammar School, Newport, UK will visit Eijkhagencollege Landgraaf or the second leg of the exchange.

Ø      Oct. 2008 - Aug. 2010  “Water”. LLP Bilateral Comenius with Escola Secundária Dr. Mário Sacramento, Aveiro  Portugal Universidade de Aveiro Geo-Sciences Department. 20 Students aged: 17-19. This work has both a cultural and a scientific approach. It involves students of physics, chemistry, biology and economics. English will be the language of contact.

Ø      Oct. 2008 - Aug. 2010  “Ceramics: A Historical and European Link”  with I.E.S. “Pere Boil” Manises (Spain) and Grotius College Delf (Netherlands). 25 students aged16-17 .

Ø      17 – 24 November 2007 Cultural exchange Liceo Celio – Eijkhagencollege “Know Europe, know your roots” 18 students  aged 17-18 to Rovigo.

Ø      6-12 March 2008 Cultural exchange Liceo Celio – Eijkhagencollege “Know Europe, know your roots” 18 students  aged 17-18 to Landgraaf

 

Ø      4-7 July 2008  Hosting American students on European tour. 38 American students from California and Oregon  aged 14-18. Aims or the Americans to develop in the American students awareness of their European  cultural roots; discover the Italian students’ lifestyles. For the Italians: Discover the American Students’ lifestyles; develop awareness of their own culture, widen linguistic competencies in English - the language of communication.

 

Ø      A student’s one year stay in Norway  with Intercultura, an international organization.

Ø      4Language experience in Cannes (France), with family stay and private school attendance for 56  14-year-old students.
